Why is gold measured in carats?
Gold purity is measured in terms of karat and fineness:
Karat: pure gold is defined as 24 karat . i.e purity in touch is ( 999.9 )
Gold Fineness: parts per thousand
Thus, 18 karat = 18/24 of 1,000 parts = 750 fineness

Currently, to fulfil the local jewellers' and bullions' market requirement and exporters' bulk order, we hold the capacity of gold refining approximately 40 – 50 kg/day.
Special criteria for 995.0 fineness gold bars is also provided for different customer class, along with conventional 999.0 fineness gold bars.
